First Day of Spring

It is rare in Rochester to see the first day of spring without whiteout conditions, so the local news crews were out doing stories and ended up at our front door. Our New Home!

It is hard to believe that we've lived in our new home a quarter of a year already. We are settling in pretty good and the stack of boxes is down considerably! We've still not hung pictures or done much in the way of decorating. A couple of times a month we head out to buy area rugs but have yet to find anything we can agree on. (Personally, I believe they should provide marriage counseling stations at any retail outlet that carries household goods with a price tag over $1,000!)

Our home is located in the city of Rochester. We are convenient to everything, especially restaurants, which is handy since I don't cook anymore! Less than a block east is Rochester's Highland Park, site of our world famous Lilac Festival. This year's event is scheduled for May 12-22. I've been trying to upload some photos of the park but it's not working. Below are several photos of the park taken at last year's festival.
