It is hard to believe that we've lived in our new home a quarter of a year already. We are settling in pretty good and the stack of boxes is down considerably! We've still not hung pictures or done much in the way of decorating. A couple of times a month we head out to buy area rugs but have yet to find anything we can agree on. (Personally, I believe they should provide marriage counseling stations at any retail outlet that carries household goods with a price tag over $1,000!)Our home is located in the city of Rochester. We are convenient to everything, especially restaurants, which is handy since I don't cook anymore! Less than a block east is Rochester's Highland Park, site of our world famous Lilac Festival. This year's event is scheduled for May 12-22. I've been trying to upload some photos of the park but it's not working. Below are several photos of the park taken at last year's festival.
